Martin Krajčo, a leading Slovak guitarist, is one of the prominent personalities of the Slovak music scene. He graduated at the Bratislava Conservatory and the Faculty of Music and Dance of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (Prof. Jozef Zsapka). In addition to his studies, he regularly studied at many master classes led by world-famous artists such as Costas Cotsiolis, Leo Brouwer, Alex Garrobé, Hubert Käppel, Zoran Dukić, Jorgos Panetsos, Marco Socías, Alberto Walter Salin, Luise Walker and others. His success during his studies is also confirmed by leading places in Slovak and international competitions in Aix-en-Provence, Banská Bystrica, Bratislava, Kutná Hora, Sernancelhe and Vienna.

Martin is an universal artist, working as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed as a soloist with many domestic and foreign orchestras. These projects included collaborations with orchestras as State Chamber Orchestra of Žilina (Breiner, Burlas, Rodrigo, Tailleferre), Orquestra do Centro Portugal (Villa-Lobos), Cappela Istropolitana (Vivaldi, Brouwer), Musica Cassovia (Vivaldi, Brouwer), I Musici di Teatro (Villa-Lobos) and conductors as Peter Breiner, Oliver Dohnányi, Gabriella de Esteban, Maroš Potokár, Dušan Štefánek and others. In the field of chamber music, his activities are extremely wide. Since 1997 he has been a member of the Bratislava Guitar Quartet (Miloš Slobodník, Yorgos Nousis, Radka Krajčová, Martin Krajčo) and is continuously engaged in duet playing with his wife Radka Krajčová. However, his chamber partners are also many leading Slovak and foreign artists: Emily Van Evera, Tomáš Janošík, Şefika Kutluer, David Maggioni, Petra Noskiaová, Eugen Prochác, Ján Slávik, Rea Slawiski, Pavel Steidl, Matúš Šimko, Juraj Tomka, Miloš Valent, Ondrej Veselý, Peter Vrbinčík, Moyzes Quartet, Mucha Quartet, Spectrum Quartet and others). Many of his solo and chamber projects were part of important events and festivals (such as Bratislava Music Festival, Epoché - New Slovak Music, Mitte Europa Festival, Forum Gitarre Wien, Guitar Festival Eszterghom, Guitar Festival Křivoklát, Guitar Art Belgrade, GuitarArt Beograd, I Giardini della Filharmonica Roma , Convergence, Musica Nobilis, Prešov Days of Classical Guitar…). Slovak and world premieres of works include compositions by Breiner, Brouwer, Burlas, Godár, Krák, Kupkovič, Malovec, Mertz, Tailleferre and other authors.

Krajčo's discography includes solo works (Moreno Torroba, Tansman, Mompou, Farkas, Brouwer, Bogdanović, Mertz), guitar duets (Mertz) and compositions for guitar quartet (Breiner, Godár, Kupkovič, Malovec, Rossini, Ravel, Brouwer, Dyens, De Falla, Piazzolla and others). In 2021, together with the Czech guitarist Pavel Steidl, he made a recording of the complete Kukuk collection of Joseph Kaspar Mertz (Music Center).
